About the guide

You will be accompanied by a professional knowledgeable guide, offering expert insight and a personal touch to your journey through Fátima, Nazaré & Óbidos.

Overview of your tour

This tour combines history and culture with spectacular natural landmarks. Explore the apparition site of Our Lady of Fatima, and discover why millions of pilgrims visit this location every year. There will be time to learn about the apparitions’ history and explore the shrine with your guide.

Next, we’ll head to a quintessential Portuguese village: Nazaré! A picturesque fishing town on the Silver Coast and one of Portugal’s most popular seaside resorts. You might even catch an infamous 80-ft wave if you’re lucky! After a traditional fish lunch and free time to shop for handcrafted products, we’ll continue to our final stop, the medieval town of Óbidos. Don’t forget your cameras on this trip, as Óbidos is a magical place you’ll want to capture. Walk along the cobblestone streets, and the walled confines of this town stuck in time. Next, we’ll try Ginjinha (sweet cherry liquor) served in a chocolate cup for a Portuguese end to the day. Lastly, we’ll take the scenic countryside route back to Lisbon and return around 6 PM.

Authentic, in-depth, and customizable, this tour is ideal for those who’d like to go beyond the tourist trails to see a piece of real Portugal.
