The Évora Private Tour, begins with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Lisbon city centre, followed by a 1h30 drive towards the town of Évora. Upon arrival, you will learn about this UNESCO World Heritage town during a walking tour of the historic centre, starting at the unique Roman Temple, one of the best-preserved Roman structures in Portugal. You will also have the chance to visit the Cathedral of Évora, its cloisters and the upper terrace for an amazing panoramic view of the city.
The tour continues with a walk downhill through the town centre, filled of local shops with traditional products like cork and ceramics. After visiting the heart of the city – Praça do Giraldo – we will make our way to the church of São Francisco and its intriguing Chapel of Bones, a chapel decorated with thousands of bones, reflecting on human existence.

Your Private Évora Tour is completely private, meaning the only people joining you will be your group and your tour guide.
If your children are younger than twelve years old, please get in touch with us before making your booking, so that we can make all necessary arrangements and check for availability for a proper child seat. If you would like to join a small group tour with your child, our shared tours are only available for children twelve years old and over. Children under the age of 12 are considered participants on each tour, and their tickets are not free.
Our Private Évora Tour is exclusively tailored for small groups, accommodating up to seven guests. To maintain a personalized, intimate and comfortable experience, we do not accept groups larger than 7.
The Alentejo and, specially, the Évora region, it’s famous for their unique wines and vineyards. You can add a wine tasting to your tour, by selecting the additional option while booking. Please note, that this will also increase the number of hours of the tour.
